On Thursday evening the Lewes Bonfire Societies held a presentation event at the Royal Oak. Commercial Square Bonfire Society (CSBS) presented the Friends with a cheque for £500 as their share of the funds raised from the recent Jubilee celebrations held on Malling Field; together the Lewes Societies raised an incredible £3,500 for local Charities. A huge thank you to CSBS for their continued support of the Friends. The donation will make a significant contribution to improving care for our local hospital community.
