Fuego Open Evening

Fuego Open Evening

Fuego part of the Loungers chain opened in Lewes in September. Representatives of the Friends were invited along to the Open Evening. They are a very community orientated business and chose the Friends as their charity for the first month of opening. Gemma Irwin, Community Manager, told us that Loungers planned to donate 10p for every cup of coffee and 50p for every burger sold. They have sold 1,398 burgers and 4,297 coffees within their first month of trading – therefore raising £1,128.70 for the Friends of Lewes Victoria Hospital. We would like to thank them all very much for their support.

Chris Kneale, the Treasurer of the Friends and Pauline Richards, Management Administrator at Lewes Victoria Hospital went along to thank Christina, the Assistant Manager of Fuego.
